Waterjet is a precise process for cutting stone, tile and porcelain. Water is circulated through a high intensity pump that generates 55,000 psi. A garnet abrasive is added to the water and shot in a thin stream at two and one half times the speed of sound. With this process, any image that can be drawn two-dimensionally can be patterned into stone. Stone Dimensions staff will turn your concept sketch, blueprint or digitized file into a shop drawing. After customer approval and material selection, the shop drawings are downloaded into the waterjet to cut the material into shapes never before possible with traditional fabricating methods. Enjoy the elegance of your ideal image, logo or design literally set in stone.
