Job Title: Polishing Specialist

Core Duties:

Read and understand shop drawings and job specific paperwork
-
Work with schedule tracking software to know assignments and expectations for each day
-
Use company software to document and track the work according to the schedule
-
Use overhead cranes to load and unload stone and quartz slabs onto worktables
-
Repair and fill chips and fissures with various epoxies and adhesives
-
Glue on drop miters with color matching epoxies
-
Work with pneumatic polishers and various tools to shape and finish stone
-
Inspect and review finished countertops per shop drawings and quality standards
-
Utilize tape measures to accurately measure and mark stone for any additional cutting Advise the team of any missing and/or defective items

Maintain supplies, tools, and work area

Assist the install teams as needed

Contribute to a respectful and collaborative culture with a positive attitude and a consistent effort to build strong, genuine relationships across the company and departments
