Outdated Marble to Taj Mahal Quartzite
In Elm Grove, Wisconsin, we recently had the pleasure of transforming a homeowner’s kitchen that was ready for a major upgrade. The original space featured outdated green marble countertops and a layout with curves the homeowner wanted to simplify. Their goal? Modern, elegant kitchen countertops that would become the centerpiece of the room.
Building the Perfect Kitchen Island
To achieve this, we built a new structure to support a massive Taj Mahal Quartzite island, creating a bold focal point for the kitchen. We then installed kitchen countertops along the perimeter, adding a full-height backsplash that wrapped around the entire space and extended up to the range hood for a seamless, luxurious look.
Creating a Custom Wine Bar with Leftover Stone
The homeowner loved the stone so much that, with leftover material, we created a custom wine bar featuring the same full-height Taj Mahal Quartzite. This addition perfectly complements the new kitchen while providing a functional and stylish entertaining area.
